In 2005 we wanted to show the plight of poor hawaiians freezing their okole’s off in sub zero weather. What better way than to put indigenous hawaiian footwear (slippers, pronounced: slippahz) in a substance it has NO reason being in…SNOW! Mele Kalikimaka is Merry Christmas in hawaiian.
